  • केन्द्री य सचिवालय सेवा (अनुभाग अधिकारी तक)/केन्द्री य सचिवालय लिपिकीय सेवा/केन्द्री य सचिवालय आशुलिपिक सेवा ग्रेड में वित्तक मंत्रालय के सभी पांच विभागों में रिक्तिनयों के संबंध में सूचना कार्मिक और प्रशिक्षण विभाग को देना।
  • केन्रीशा य सचिवालय सेवा (अनुभाग अधिकारी तक)/ केन्द्री य सचिवालय लिपिकीय सेवा / केन्द्री य सचिवालय आशुलिपिक सेवा ग्रेडों में नियुक्ति , तदर्थ पदोन्नयति और नियमित पदोन्ननति।

  • नए सहायक अनुभाग अधिकारियों और समूह 'घ' आशुलिपिकों तथा अनुभाग अधिकारियों और निजी सचिवों का नामांकन जो सीमित विभागीय प्रतियोगी परीक्षा के आधार पर कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए जाने पर वित्तथ मंत्रालय के सभी पांच विभागों में कार्यभार ग्रहण करते हैं।

  • संवर्ग-बाह्य पदों के लिए स्वैरच्छिचक सेवानिवृत्तिय आदि लेने के लिए केन्द्री य सचिवालय सेवा (अनुभाग अधिकारी तक)/ केन्द्री य सचिवालय लिपिकीय सेवा / केन्द्री य सचिवालय आशुलिपिक सेवा समूहों के संबंध में संवर्ग अनापत्ति‍।
  • केन्द्री य सचिवालय सेवा (अनुभाग अधिकारी और सहायक अनुभाग अधिकारी)/ केन्द्री य सचिवालय लिपिकीय सेवा (कनिष्ठा सचिवालय सहायक और वरिष्ठअ सचिवालय सहायक)/ केन्द्री य सचिवालय आशुलिपिक सेवा के विकेन्द्री कृत ग्रेड के संबंध में पदों को संवर्ग में शामिल करना।
