> To coordinate Parliament related work of all the Departments under Ministry of Finance i.e. Department of Expenditure, Department of Economic Affairs, Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Public Enterprises and Department of Investment and Public Assets Management.
> Coordination with all the Departments under Ministry of Finance on issues related to Starred/Unstarred Parliament Questions.
> Coordination with Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha Secretariat regarding Government Bills pertaining to Ministry of Finance.
> Monitoring of Assurances made during Question Hour or discussions in any of the two Houses.
> To assist the Finance Minister/Minister of State in the day-to-day business of Parliament during Parliament Sessions.
> Monitoring of issues raised in Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha under Rule 377/Special Mentions and issues raised during Zero Hour for all the Departments under Ministry of Finance.
> Organizing meetings of the Consultative Committee of Ministry of Finance.
> Coordination with Parliamentary Committees viz. Standing Committee on Finance, Public Accounts Committee, Committee on Government Assurances, Committee on Subordinate Legislation, etc.
